Master Paul Fitzgerald
4th Grade Black Belt • Chief Instructor
Master Paul Fitzgerald has received over 20 years of training at the Filipino Martial Arts Academy and West Coast Headquarters. He trained with senior masters across the component styles of the Doce Pares System and was authorized to teach the full curriculum, including Espada y Daga, Largo Mano, Media Largo, Corto, Baraw, Mano-Mano, the twelve forms (Sayaw) and Tapi-Tapi.
His teaching emphasizes not only performing techniques, but understanding the theories, principles and philosophies behind them so students can develop their own skill and application.

Master Madilynn “Len” Fitzgerald
4th Grade Black Belt • Assistant Instructor
Master Madilynn “Len” Fitzgerald is an accomplished Filipino martial artist, international competitor, and Assistant Instructor at Filipino Martial Arts Academy. She began training with the academy in 2007 and developed extensive experience in the Doce Pares Multi-Style System.
Her training includes Espada y Daga, Largo Mano, Media Largo, Corto, Baraw, Mano-Mano, Sayaw, Tapi-Tapi, and the core principles that connect the different ranges and methods of Doce Pares. Her teaching emphasizes strong fundamentals, technical precision, confidence, adaptability, and practical application.
Master Madilynn also brings international competition experience to her instruction. She has represented FMAA and the United States in major stick-fighting competition and continues to help preserve and pass on the traditions of Filipino martial arts to both beginning and experienced students.
